Principal's Message

Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

Welcome to Alexandria Middle Magnet School! It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of this exceptional institution, marking my first year as part of this amazing community. I bring with me 28 years of experience in education within Rapides Parish, having served as an Assistant Principal and Principal at Hadnot-Hayes Elementary.

My educational journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana College, followed by a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Northwestern. These milestones laid the foundation for my deep commitment to fostering academic excellence and a culture of empowerment for students and staff alike.

I firmly believe that every child can succeed when given the appropriate tools, opportunities, and support. At AMMS, we set high expectations for all, cultivating a growth mindset that enables our students to rise to challenges and excel academically, socially, and emotionally. Our mission is rooted in accountability, positive relationships, and using challenges as opportunities for growth.

Together, with the dedication of our exceptional faculty and staff, we aim to create an environment where learning thrives, and success is a shared journey.
